What can I say about Mr. Garibaldi? He's a maverick, fun and georgeous!

JERRY DOYLE plays Michael Garibaldi on Babylon 5. He is one of the few original cast members to survive all five seasons...and he is the only human. In the beginning Michael is the Head of Security for Babylon 5. He answers to one man and that is his Commander in Chief, Jeffrey Sinclair. Garibaldi doesn't trust anyone. We learn that his true love is Lise, but that she is now married to another man.

TALIA: Why is that whenever I go anywhere, Mr. Garibaldi is right there...waiting?

Michael is human. And with that humanity comes some problems...in his case, in the form of an alcohol addiction. He tries to face the world head on. And sometimes it bites him back. He is loyal to his friends and dedicated to his work. His job leaves almost no time for a social life, but he does manage to find time on occassion. (Check out "Gropos" where he meets the tough and spunky Dodger.)

Q: What is Mr. Garibaldi's all time favourite thing to do in the Universe?

A: Watch old vids of Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny cartoons.

To alien Ambassadors like Londo, Delenn and G'Kar he is "Mr. Garibaldi" but to the rest of the station he is always known as GARIBALDI. And I think that suits him just fine. Jerry Doyle does an excellent job of creating and highlighting this character's foibles, but at the same time makes him an extremely lovable character.

If you enjoy Jerry Doyle's work as much as I do...check out Sliders. He makes a guest appearance in one of the later episodes as a soldier stuck in the middle of nowhere fighting against a hideous enemy. Hmmm... now where have I heard that before?
